Groundskeeper

St. Leonard has an exciting new opportunity for a Full-Time Groundskeeper.

Our beautiful 240-acre campus is one of the largest Continuing Care Retirement Communities in the United States. St. Leonard features independent living, assisted living, dementia care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, and adult day care as well as a community wellness center that encompasses a fitness center, and restaurant.

Wage range: $17-$20/hr., depending on experience

Job Summary:
The Groundskeeper is required to perform all tasks required to maintain the grounds, gardens, walks, and roads in a safe, appealing condition. All Grounds staff is on-call for snow and ice removal in the winter.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates all equipment necessary to mow, trim, prune, plant, and spray grass, trees and shrubbery.
• Maintains all roads, walks, and outdoor lighting in safe working condition and free of hazards.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment and vehicles, along completing with appropriate documentation.
• Performs a variety of tasks assigned by work orders that relate to the grounds and landscape.
  Takes part in a variety of inside maintenance tasks and projects.

Salary/Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
