Duration: Full-time

Pay: Estimated $70,000-$85,000/year

Must-Have Requirements

  • Experience as a Bookkeeper, Junior Accountant, or similar accounting/finance role
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting
  • Experience creating financial analysis, forecasting, and basic financial models
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or working toward a CPA
  • Experience working in healthcare, multi-entity, or project-based organizations
  • Experience supporting leadership with financial reporting and business insights
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Experience with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing and evolving business environment
  • Experience creating financial dashboards and reporting packages

Position Overview
The Junior Accountant will support the organization's financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting and reconciliations, and providing data-driven financial analysis. This individual will work within a multi-entity healthcare environment, helping leadership make informed business decisions through accurate accounting practices and meaningful financial insights.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile financial records across multiple entities and projects
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses for leadership
  • Build and maintain Excel-based financial models and reporting tools
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
  • Enter and maintain accounting records within QuickBooks
  • Analyze financial data and present findings in a clear, actionable format
  • Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to support business growth initiatives
  • Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies
