Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing services in Language, Speech, and Hearing or a California credential for Language/Speech and Hearing Specialist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working within a school-based team is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide holistic support for students.
- Maintain detailed and compliant records of progress and service delivery.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to staff and families as needed.
