Job Description
Step into an impactful role supporting students’ speech and language development in an energetic K-12 school setting. This full-time contract opportunity offers meaningful, hands-on experience in an onsite environment where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will make a daily difference. You’ll work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to develop and implement individual therapy plans that help students improve communication and thrive both academically and socially.
What we’re looking for:
- SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Current South Carolina SLP license and valid Educator Certification
- Experience working within school environments, with knowledge of IEP processes
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload of up to 60 (often 55 or fewer)
- Confident providing services across all grade levels, K-12
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Full-time availability, 37.5 hours per week
- Enthusiastic about onsite engagement—this is not a virtual position
What you’ll do:
- Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Track student progress and update documentation
- Attend and participate in IEP and staff meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Build rapport with students to foster a positive, encouraging environment
