Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Illinois (IL)
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with the K-12 population is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an enthusiasm for multi-disciplinary teamwork
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to support diverse learning needs and foster student growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-12 students with varying physical and developmental needs
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and necessary compliance records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support for every student
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment that enhances students’ participation in school activities
