Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist working with kindergarten through 12th grade students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Troup County, GA. Your expertise in fine and gross motor skills, school-based occupational therapy, and the ability to adapt to different educational settings will be essential as you serve a dynamic and diverse student caseload. Working collaboratively with educators, families, and other allied professionals, you’ll deliver impactful therapeutic interventions designed to help students succeed both academically and personally.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Georgia (required)
- Experience in school-based, healthcare, or home health occupational therapy settings
- Skilled in evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Proficiency in addressing fine and gross motor skills needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine needs and develop meaningful OT goals and objectives
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions targeting motor, self-care, and sensory needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for integrated care
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP development
- Provide input for accommodations and modifications in the school setting
