Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Monitor individuals' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Perform basic health care-related tasks in accordance with established care plans.
• Encourage independence while ensuring a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and team members.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience with special needs and mental health
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and other physical aspects of personal care.
