Location: Monterey, CA
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Setting: Outpatient Pediatrics

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join a growing outpatient pediatric team in Monterey, California. This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping pediatric patients with developmental, orthopedic, neurological, and physical disabilities achieve their highest level of function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients from newborns to 12 years old.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

  • Design fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient's needs.

  • Provide personalized, family-centered care and interventions.

  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

  • Improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and overall functional mobility.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

  • Monitor patient progress, assess treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy.

  • Active California Physical Therapist (PT) License required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric physical therapy experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule with no weekend requirements.

  • Monday-Thursday: Various scheduling options between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

  • Friday optional (off or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM).
