Make a difference in the lives of students in the Washington, DC area as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic, contract-based setting offering a unique hybrid schedule. This opportunity is perfect for professionals seeking both collaboration in a school environment and the flexibility of remote work. Starting August 3, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027, you will provide essential SLP services for a diverse student caseload. Spend three days on-site with students, and work remotely two days weekly performing virtual therapy, documentation, and meetings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP license required
  • Experience with school-based or pediatric populations preferred
  • Comfortable delivering both in-person and virtual therapy services
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Quick to initiate time-sensitive credentialing, including a VA Dept. of Social Services check and TB Test
  • Adaptable to various caseload sizes and school assignments

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct therapy sessions on-site and virtually, utilizing technology resources for effective service delivery
  • Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed

This contract role offers a 37.5-hour full-time schedule during traditional school hours, with a flexible three-day in-person and two-day remote weekly arrangement. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated educational professionals while playing an essential role in supporting students’ communication development.
