Step into a dynamic and meaningful career opportunity working directly with young children as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Salem area and surrounding counties. This full-time, in-person role offers the chance to make a profound impact on the development of children ages birth to five, supporting their communication skills during their most formative years.

Available positions include:

  • Full-Time SLP for Birth–3 Years: July 6, 2026–June 11, 2027 (190-day contract)
  • Full-Time SLP for Ages 3–5: August 21, 2026–June 9, 2027 (190-day contract)These roles provide services in Salem, Polk County, and Yamhill County.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience or demonstrated passion for working with early childhood populations (birth to 5 years)
  • Ability to provide in-person therapy and consultation in school settings
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and early intervention

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for young children
  • Deliver direct speech-language services in classroom and one-on-one settings
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress; adjust interventions as needed
  • Partner with families and teachers to support generalization of communication strategies
  • Attend IEP meetings, contribute to team decisions, and complete required documentation
