Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
  • Experience or genuine enthusiasm for school-based and 1:1 therapy services
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and advocating for children’s needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing communication, language, articulation, and social-pragmatic deficits
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP development and implementation
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, provide guidance to staff, and share best practices to enhance student outcomes
  • Stay informed on the latest research and approaches in school-based speech therapy
