Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Experience or genuine enthusiasm for school-based and 1:1 therapy services
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering student growth and advocating for children’s needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing communication, language, articulation, and social-pragmatic deficits
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP development and implementation
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, provide guidance to staff, and share best practices to enhance student outcomes
- Stay informed on the latest research and approaches in school-based speech therapy
