This contract opportunity runs from July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027, supporting students across two sites that serve kindergarten through eighth grade. The assignment boasts consistent 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM hours, Monday through Friday, allowing you to truly connect with your students and school teams while maintaining a balanced weekly schedule.
Your work will directly support a diverse caseload of about 90 students, including both speech-only preschoolers and K–8 learners in general education and mild cross-categorical settings. In this role, you’ll have the fulfilling responsibility of supervising an SLPA and making a positive impact school-wide.
Key qualifications and preferred experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current or eligible SLP - CCC and/or SLP - CFY credentials
- Experience with pediatric or school-based SLP services
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Calendar & Docs)
- Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms and digital scheduling tools
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience supervising SLPAs is a plus, but mentorship will be provided
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support holistic student progress
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to an SLPA
- Develop, implement, and track IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain up-to-date documentation through digital platforms
