Electrician

Position: 1st class Electrician

Job Location: Pascagoula, MS

Hutco Branch: Moss Point, MS

Rate of Pay: $42.00 per hour and $147.04 per-diem for those who qualify

Description:

Electricians are responsible for the layout, installation, and repair of shipboard cables, lighting, and electronic, as well as the ships power. Electricians utilize an assortment of hand and power tools, a variety of thest equipment along with a working knowledge of blue prints, drawings, and schematics.

Requirements:

\n
• Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience in the marine electrical field.
\n
• High School diploma or equivalent
\n
• Must have 1 year of shipboard experience in sonar, radar, power, internal communication, navigation, etc.
\n
• Must be able to read marine blue prints.
\n
• Must have marine, high voltage and test experience.
\n
• Must be able to work from standard and metric specifications.
\n
• Must have wiring hook up and fiber optics experience.
\n
• Must be able to work any shift.
\n
• Must be able to pass a drug screen (HFT) and background check.
\n
