Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby during labor and delivery.
• Implement the Standards of Nursing Practice, which include assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.
• Provide holistic care to patients and families throughout various stages of life.
• Develop and update patient care plans, coordinating efforts across different disciplines.
• Engage in shared accountability and decision-making regarding nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is essential.
• Fetal monitoring and antepartum experience are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting is necessary.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
• Proficiency with the Epic electronic health records system is required.

Working Conditions

This position involves a travel component, requiring adaptability to various clinical environments and schedules.
