Outpatient Neurology - Physician - Albany/Clifton Park, NY

Our organization is actively looking for additional Outpatient Neurologists to join our expanding team at St. Peters Neurology, situated in the lively Capital Region of New York.

With locations in Albany and Clifton Park, this position offers a unique chance to be part of a physician-led group with a well-established neurology department that is growing and integrating its services. • Outpatient role from Monday to Friday with a shared call rotation among team members.
• Join an established practice consisting of 3 full-time physicians and a team of 2 advanced practitioners, focusing on general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at a local hospital.
• Shared rotational call with robust practice support.
• Proficiency in performing EMG/NCS and EEG is required.
• Opportunities to read sleep studies are available.
• Access to sub-specialties, including an MS Headache Center, with strong support from Hospitalists.
• Specialization opportunities in neuromuscular and epilepsy are available on dedicated days for those with relevant expertise.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certified in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in various sub-specialties is welcomed but not mandatory (the primary focus is on general care).
• Excellent clinical and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to team-oriented patient care.
• A desire to provide general neurological care is essential.

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Base compensation ranging from $330,000 to $340,000, with potential for increased earnings through productivity.
• The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensations. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
• Starting bonus of $25,000.
• Retention bonus of $15,000 upon reaching the 2-year anniversary.
• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance.
• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.
• 5 days of CME time with a $4,500 expense allowance.
