Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory
- Previous experience within a school setting, specifically with early childhood/pediatric caseloads
- Strong skills in conducting both speech/language and comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations for PreK students, including those with complex needs
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and dedication to working onsite daily
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy for early childhood caseloads, including children with diverse and high-needs profiles
- Administer and interpret a variety of assessments to identify students’ unique needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment outcomes
- Conduct family and team consultations to facilitate student success
- Contribute as a vital member in multidisciplinary evaluation teams
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations
