Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current, active Michigan SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory
• Previous experience within a school setting, specifically with early childhood/pediatric caseloads
• Strong skills in conducting both speech/language and comprehensive multidisciplinary evaluations for PreK students, including those with complex needs
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Flexibility and dedication to working onsite daily

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy for early childhood caseloads, including children with diverse and high-needs profiles
• Administer and interpret a variety of assessments to identify students’ unique needs and strengths
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment outcomes
• Conduct family and team consultations to facilitate student success
• Contribute as a vital member in multidisciplinary evaluation teams
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations
