In this onsite position, you'll work three days per week, focusing your expertise on students at varying levels—including elementary, middle, and high school. Use your skills to help students achieve their fullest potential through thoughtful intervention strategies and compassionate support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations (K-12)
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students’ fine motor, sensory integration, and self-help skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by the school
- Consult and collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer strategies and training for teachers and families to support student growth
- Remain current on best practices and regulatory requirements for pediatric occupational therapy
