\nAbout this role:
\n \nThis Certified Nurse Midwife will join a thriving practice on campus at Orem Community Hospital, in the heart of Orem, Utah. OurCertified Nurse Midwivesprovide comprehensive health care for women, with a particular emphasis on wellness and patient choice. We support patients across their lifespan and in their childbirth decisions,includinglow intervention options such as nitrous oxide and waterbirth. We also offerCenteringPregnancygroup prenatal care.
Our CNMs provide gynecologic and obstetric care inclinic, attend births, androundwith patients in hospital. Our CNMs work at the top of their scope of licensure, admitting, caring for, and discharging patients from inpatient care. We work in a highly collaborative model, consulting and supporting one another on a consistent basis.
\n This is afull-timeopportunity and is fully benefits-eligible. The CNM willbe requiredto support rotating after-hours,weekends, and holiday call time.

Current Utah state license as a Certified Nurse Midwife

Certification as a Nurse Midwife
\n

Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
\n

Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
\n

- \n
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
\n

- \n
Minimum2+years experiencepracticingfull scope as a CNM

Preferred: experience with water births and group prenatal care
