School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Triangle, Virginia

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a flexible hybrid role. This position is based in the Washington, DC area, about 45 minutes south of the city, offering a unique blend of on-site and remote responsibilities. The contract runs from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with full-time hours set at 37.5 per week. As part of this arrangement, you'll spend three days each week on campus and two days working from home, engaging in virtual therapy and meetings.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active and valid Virginia SLP license at the time of application
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
• Ability to manage varied caseloads for students in different age groups and with diverse communication needs
• Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn virtual therapy platforms and integrate technology in service delivery
• TB test as required by Virginia
• Willingness to begin the Department of Social Services check quickly to meet credentialing deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, both in-person and virtually
• Participate actively with school staff as part of a collaborative team supporting student success
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain appropriate documentation
• Attend relevant team and IEP meetings, some in person, others remotely
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding student progress
