Working with two school sites (serving grades K–8 and 6–8) from July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027, you’ll play a key role in shaping student communication skills alongside a collaborative team. This placement allows you to mentor and oversee an SLPA, engage with diverse caseloads, and broaden your expertise amid varied workplace settings. The hands-on leadership experience and exposure to innovative instructional practices will stand out on your resume, bolstering your credentials for the future.
Desired Background:
- Active SLP license (CCC or CFY status)
- Pediatric and/or school-based SLP experience
- Experience with speech-only, general ed, and mild cross-categorical populations
- Comfortable providing supervision for SLPAs
- Proficient with Google Workspace, virtual meeting tools, and digital scheduling platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 90 students across two school sites
- Deliver speech therapy services to preschool through middle school populations
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA
- Document sessions and progress using digital tools
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP development
