Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and individualized treatment planning skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Flexibility, organizational skills, and a positive attitude necessary for meeting diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in an onsite, school setting
  • Administer assessments, track progress, and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Support students with a variety of communication challenges, including articulation, language, fluency, and social pragmatics
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize student progress
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and related documentation
  • Maintain thorough and compliant records of all evaluations, sessions, and student outcomes
