Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CF)
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a must
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in diverse or multicultural environments
  • Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational teams
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and work collaboratively with educators and specialists

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy for students from a variety of backgrounds
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Engage in professional development to remain current with best practices in bilingual and school-based SLP services
