Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with preschool students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). This full-time onsite role supports a dynamic educational environment near Avon, IN, delivering specialized services to young learners at a crucial stage of their development. Starting August 24th and running through October 3rd, you’ll play an integral part in fostering communication skills that set students up for lifelong success.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active SLP license required
  • Credentials and certification in SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted speech and language services to preschool students based on their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, family members, and other support staff
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress for each student on your caseload (final count TBD)
  • Adjust therapeutic approaches to best serve each child’s needs
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal special education guidelines
