Make a meaningful difference as a part-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students at a middle school near Pawtucket, RI. This contract position offers a focused caseload within a collaborative school environment, ensuring you can provide individualized care while maintaining work-life balance. You’ll be contributing to student success by delivering quality speech and language services in person two days per week.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active Rhode Island SLP license
  • Valid Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certification
  • School-based experience preferred
  • SLPAs are not eligible for this opportunity

Key Details:

  • Commitment: Two on-site days per week
  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • School assignment at a single middle school
  • Caseload: Approximately 20 students, offering the ability to make a substantial impact
  • Duration: August 26, 2026 – June 11, 2027
  • All services provided in-person

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to middle school students, addressing a range of communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to promote student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
  • Engage in ongoing progress monitoring and adjust intervention plans as needed
