Occupational Therapist School Setting in Beaverton, OR

Key Qualifications:

• Current Oregon licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience or training in school-based OT services preferred
• Familiarity with K-12 student populations and IEP processes
• Ability to work effectively onsite with students, staff, and families
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptability and dedication to meeting diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess students’ abilities and develop intervention strategies to improve fine motor, sensory, and gross motor skills for classroom success
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to drive holistic student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and student outcomes
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support student growth and inclusion
• Support teachers with strategies to adapt classroom materials and environments to better accommodate students’ needs
