Our organization is on the lookout for two outstanding board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologists to take a key role in establishing a new medical oncology practice in Laconia, New Hampshire. This unique opportunity allows you to influence the future of cancer treatment in a community that has a growing demand for oncology services. You will work collaboratively with independent community partners in Medical and Radiation Oncology, as well as surgical specialists from our medical group, to deliver top-tier oncology care in Central New Hampshire.

The Payson Center for Cancer Care is proudly recognized by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center. Our program offers fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer treatment, combining medical, radiation, and surgical oncology with the support of oncology-trained nurse navigators, social workers, and nutritionists. This ensures that patients receive seamless, compassionate, and advanced care close to their homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough inpatient and outpatient care in medical oncology and hematology, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing follow-up.
• Work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-focused cancer care.
• Participate actively in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards and initiatives of the Cancer Committee.
• Contribute to the growth of the program, quality enhancement, and development of service lines within a respected Cancer Center.
• Engage in clinical trials to promote innovative oncology practices.
• Exhibit a strong dedication to clinical excellence, professional development, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completed fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology (ABIM)
• Eligible for licensure in New Hampshire
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient care abilities
