Schedule
This is a night shift position with flexible scheduling options, including:
Monday-Thursday: 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM (4x10s)
Monday-Friday: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (5x8s)
Monday-Friday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (5x8s)

We are seeking an experienced CT Technician to join a growing healthcare team in Los Alamos, NM. Key Responsibilities
Review physician orders and patient medical history prior to imaging procedures.
Educate patients regarding CT procedures, equipment, and expectations to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice when required.
Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any changes.
Prepare imaging equipment and maintain necessary supplies.
Follow established radiation safety protocols and perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions as needed.
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Evaluate image quality and repeat scans when necessary to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Document, transmit, and report imaging results according to departmental procedures.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Required
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related imaging field.
Current New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred
Previous CT imaging experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
Strong patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
