Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for a dedicated Pharmacist to serve in a dynamic healthcare system supporting three distinct pharmacy locations: a medical center, a hospital, and an infusion center. The role involves floating between these sites to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care across the system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently at each pharmacy location
  • Managing hazardous medications, including compounding chemotherapy agents
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adapting to variable schedules, including swing shifts, every other weekend coverage, and holiday shifts
  • Utilizing pharmacy systems, with Cerner experience preferred; training available for the right candidate

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensure as a Pharmacist with relevant state credentials
  • Experience in staff pharmacist roles, preferably within hospital or infusion center settings
  • Comfort with handling and compounding hazardous medications such as chemotherapy
  • Flexibility to travel daily among the three pharmacy sites
  • Ability to work variable shifts including 8-hour and 10-hour shifts tailored to each location's needs
  • Experience with Cerner pharmacy software is an advantage, though training will be provided

Location:

  • Moorpark, CA (serving Ventura County Medical Center, St. Paula Hospital, and Infusion Center Pharmacy)
  • Local candidates are preferred due to travel demands across sites
