This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic school environment. You will be joining an established SLP team, currently consisting of 16 skilled professionals and a dedicated Lead SLP, working together to make a lasting impact on students’ academic and social success.
In this role, you will work 37.5 hours per week during the new school year, supporting an average caseload of 50-55 students. The environment is supportive and structured, offering remarkable opportunities to network, grow professionally, and collaborate with other specialists.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement targeted IEPs and personalized treatment plans
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other service providers for comprehensive support
- Document progress, maintain compliance with special education regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide both direct and consultative services to meet students’ diverse needs
