Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a diverse, inclusive educational setting. This full-time position covers a maternity leave from mid-November through late January and offers flexibility to work either virtually or onsite. You will work with approximately 50 students, providing services to both resource classrooms and the RISE program, which serves children with moderate disabilities.

What you bring:

  • Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience supporting students within school settings, especially those with moderate disabilities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Comfort with both virtual and in-person instruction
  • Ability to manage an elementary caseload with organizational skill and empathy

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver targeted interventions for students in resource and specialized settings
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records
  • Adapt services and communication for a virtual or onsite learning environment
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere
