Our diverse case mix includes specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Neurology, Vascular Surgery, and Trauma. While experience in Cardiac care is advantageous, it is not a requirement (additional compensation is available for those with cardiac expertise). This position is a hospital-employed W-2 role.
Our team of physicians and CRNAs thrives in a collaborative atmosphere characterized by mutual respect and a commitment to patient care. The supervision model allows for a maximum ratio of 4:1. This is a full-time position, with MDs expected to work 2,060 hours annually to maintain a 1.0 FTE status, and call responsibilities are shared equally among the team.
Requirements:- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
- Board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment.
- Valid Idaho medical license and privileges at SARMC and other affiliated hospitals as necessary; must hold a valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
