Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner – Boston, MA Are you a dedicated Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner seeking an excellent daytime schedule with a leading healthcare facility? Quick Facts Location: 55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA 02114 Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Shift: Day shift, 3x 13-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Hours/Week: 39 hours/week Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: MA License required; BC in Neurosurgery preferred Experience: Minimum 1 year neuro experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $129.98/hr Additional Benefits: Competitive pay packages and weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Perform inpatient neurosurgery patient care, including rounding with residents and managing plan development Review patient status and update orders as needed Assist in discharge planning and coordinate patient care Manage drains such as Hemovac and JP drains (preferred skill) Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Document patient interactions and treatment plans using Epic EMR Provide patient education and support for adults with neurosurgical needs What You Need Valid Massachusetts license and Board Certification in Neurosurgery required Minimum 1 year neuro-specific nursing experience Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting Strong communication and patient care skills About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Boston delivering specialized inpatient neurosurgery care.
