Job Description
Sterling Medical is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) to support services at Fort Bliss, Texas, including the Soldier Readiness Processing Center and associated military medical clinics.

Monday-Friday schedule

8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM

No nights, weekends, or on-call
\n - \n
Location: Fort Bliss, TX

Setting: Soldier Readiness Processing Center / Military Clinics

Qualifications:
\n- \n

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program
\n - \n
NCCPA certification (PA-C)
\n - \n
Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience (within last 2 years)
\n - \n
Active, unrestricted state license
\n - \n
NPI required (DEA not required)
\n - \n
BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross, in-person)
\n

Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- \n
Conduct medical evaluations to ensure Service Members are cleared for mobilization/demobilization (MOB/DEMOB)
\n - \n
Provide primary care services, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment
\n - \n
Maintain efficient patient flow, seeing approximately 4-6 patients per hour (SRP)
\n - \n
Administer Health Risk Assessments and review medical histories
\n - \n
Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests, and follow up on abnormal findings
\n - \n
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice
\n - \n
Coordinate care and facilitate referrals to specialists as needed
