Structural Welder

Postion: 1st class Structural Welder

Job Location: Pascagoula, MS

Hutco Branch: Moss Point, MS

Rate of Pay: $42.00 per hour and $147.04 per-diem for those who qualify.

Description: Responsible for the welding of metal fabricated parts by utilizing various welding processes and positions within shipbuilding environment.

Requirements:

\n
• Minimum 2-4 years shipyard experience in FCAW (Flux Core) & SMAW (Stick Welding)
\n
• Must know ship terminology
\n
• Must pass military standard tests in vertical (3G), overhead (4G), horizontal (2G), the weld test is for x-ray quality.
\n
• Must weld both fillet and butt welding.
\n
• Must pass drug screen (HFT) and background check
\n
• Must be able to work all shifts.
\n
• Must be able to work in confined spaces, ascend and work at heights, under all weather conditions.
\n
