\nService Technicians play a critical role in supporting our field operations. Service technicians will work on a variety of job assignments, including field and yard operations, pressure cleaning, operation of equipment, and lead job site cleanup. This high impact role is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge in the waste industry. Essential Job Functions
\n- \n
- Perform high-pressure washing and thorough job site cleanup \n
- Operate field equipment, including jetters, vacuum units, and Hotsy pressure washers \n
- Assist with confined space tasks and site preparation \n
- Operate and maintain plant and yard equipment efficiently \n
- Operation of company vehicles safely to and from job sites \n
- Forklift operation as needed (experience preferred) \n
- Support vacuum truck operators and participation in special projects \n
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment \n
- Other duties as assigned \n
- May require occasional overtime, weekends or holiday shifts as dictated by business needs \n
What You Need:
\n- \n
- High school diploma or GED required, previous relevant experience may replace educational requirements. \n
- Forklift certification preferred \n
- Mechanical aptitude preferred \n
- Self-motivated, dependable and safety conscious \n
- Must be able to learn quickly, with ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures, safety policies, and other job specific written information. \n
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, stoop. Climb and work in various weather conditions \n
- Strong interpersonal, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills \n
- Ability to work independently and in a team \n
- Must have valid driver's license with the ability to pass a background check and drug screening \n
