To qualify for the position of Registered Dental Hygienist, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Hold a current CPR certification
- Be available to work on Mondays and/or Fridays
Key responsibilities of the Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) include:
- Educating patients on dental hygiene, including tooth care and nutrition
- Performing scaling and polishing to eliminate plaque and tartar
- Taking dental X-rays
- Applying topical fluoride treatments to prevent cavities
- Conducting screenings and monitoring patient oral health
