This position requires a motivated individual licensed in Massachusetts or new graduates interested in retail pharmacy experience. The role spans 13 weeks or longer, providing consistent weekday hours ideal for those seeking a stable daytime schedule.
Location: Boston, MA (Rehab Hospital)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Oversee medication dispensing and ensure accuracy in a rehab hospital environment
- Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for medication management and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care and patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Massachusetts pharmacist license preferred
- New pharmacy graduates, especially those with retail experience, are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with hospital IT systems such as Epic and Pyxis is an asset
