Job Description

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist assignment covers two critical leave periods: the first from the start of the school year through October 1st, and the second continuing from the start of the year through November 9th—with the possibility of extension for both. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) applicants welcome
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support diverse caseloads, including students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention and ongoing learning
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school procedures
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful, student-centered recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all school district requirements
- Offer support and guidance to classroom staff regarding effective communication strategies
