Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility required
- Strong communication skills and experience building rapport with school-aged children
- Comfort and effectiveness working one-on-one in a school or pediatric setting
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized 1:1 speech and language therapy to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and draft detailed progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote overall student success
- Attend IEP meetings and actively contribute professional input
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all state and school requirements
- Stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the school environment
