Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • California State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility required
  • Strong communication skills and experience building rapport with school-aged children
  • Comfort and effectiveness working one-on-one in a school or pediatric setting
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized 1:1 speech and language therapy to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and draft detailed progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote overall student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and actively contribute professional input
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all state and school requirements
  • Stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the school environment
