Status: Full-Time (Highly desirable 4-day work week; 5-day track available if the physician chooses to maximize earning potential)

Production Payout: Tiered incentives yielding 35% of any additional productivity over your base salary, paid out as an end-of-year bonus starting in Year 1.
Sign-On / Relocation Incentive: $7,500 upfront allowance (Highly negotiable).
Setting: Private, Physician-Owned Specialty Practice (Comprehensive Outpatient Office, Exam Lanes & In-Office Procedure Suites).
Patient Volume: Anticipate an active clinical pace of 25 to 40 patients per day.
Experience Level: Open to both Seasoned Specialists and Incoming Fellows / New Graduates!
Start Date: ASAP
Specialized Ecosystem: Practice within a custom-tailored workspace featuring dedicated pediatric lobbies, specialized pediatric exam lanes, and advanced specialized diagnostic testing zones.
Clinical Scope: Deliver elite diagnostic, medical, and surgical interventions covering general pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus cases.
NICU & ROP Integration: Take part in cutting-edge Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screenings and specialized treatments based entirely on your clinical interest. The practice currently anchors active coverage across two major regional NICUs.
Clinical Backing: Work with a fully trained clinical support team of ophthalmic technicians, scribes, and patient coordinators to streamline your outpatient workflow.
Core Hours: Standard daytime clinic shifts running 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
Fellowship: Successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
Licensure: Active medical license in the State of Virginia (or immediate eligibility to obtain via endorsement).
Clinical Interest: Strong focus on pediatric eye care and adult strabismus management; comfort or active interest in ROP screenings is a major plus.
