Position Summary
We are looking for a talented Interventional Radiologist to become part of our multidisciplinary team located in Daytona Beach, FL. In this position, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging and executing a comprehensive array of image-guided interventional procedures that support the extensive urologic services we provide. This role offers a unique chance to contribute significantly to a growing urology service line while working closely with urologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals in a patient-focused setting.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze various imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine related to urologic and related conditions.
Conduct interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization, nephrostomy tube placements, and other minimally invasive, image-guided therapies.
Collaborate with referring physicians to suggest suitable imaging techniques and procedural plans.
Engage in clinical decision-making, educate patients, and effectively communicate imaging results.
Maintain compliance with quality assurance standards, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
Active medical license in Florida or eligibility for licensure in the state.
Strong technical skills in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork.
