Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Harlem, GA

Deliver meaningful impact as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary students throughout the 2026/2027 academic year. This contract role focuses on providing crucial speech and language services to young learners, helping them overcome communication barriers and succeed in their educational journey. The preferred setting is onsite, ensuring direct interaction and collaboration with students and staff; however, virtual candidates may be considered if an onsite SLPA is secured.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia SPED Licensure/Certification required (active status verification must be submitted)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
• Prior experience in a school-based setting desirable
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and detailed documentation
• Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, for 37.5 hours per week

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine needs
• Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress
• Maintain compliance with district and state documentation protocols
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist in the creation of measurable goals
