This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to collaborate within a dynamic, supportive district, with your assignment not exceeding a 20-mile or 1-hour commute—ensuring your work feels rewarding, not overwhelming.

Enjoy a schedule from August through early June, working 40 hours each week (7:30 am–4:00 pm). As an itinerant SLP, you’ll support 1 to 4 schools—with an average of two—serving caseloads of 55-60 students representing a variety of age groups. Focus on providing high-quality therapy and evaluations, while dedicated case managers handle IEP coordination and case management tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Credentials: Active California SLP license; valid CTC documentation (preliminary or clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance); Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
  • Qualifications: CCC-SLP or strong CFs (Clinical Fellows) welcome, provided supervision is arranged.
  • Commitment: Full-time availability; part-time roles are not currently offered.
  • Dedication: Willingness to travel between sites as assigned.

  • Perform speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Deliver direct therapy tailored to students’ diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
