Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- California State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist necessary
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credential required
- Prior experience providing services in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication abilities, with a passion for encouraging student growth
- Adaptable and organized, with excellent interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students on a 1:1 basis
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the IEP process
- Support student success through engaging, evidence-based interventions
