School Speech Language Pathologist - Pottsboro, TX

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication and educational success as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Pottsboro, TX area. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, serving elementary, secondary, and private school settings. You’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team, sharing a diverse caseload alongside another SLP and two SLPA professionals.

Qualifications:

• Active or pending Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered)
• Previous experience in school settings is preferred, though strong clinical or CFY candidates are welcome
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Proficient in assessment, developing IEP goals, and providing individualized and group therapy
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement therapy plans, aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
• Maintain required records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Serve a caseload shared with fellow SLPs and SLPAs to ensure balanced and effective intervention
• Support students across multiple campuses, contributing to a dynamic team atmosphere
