Advance your Speech-Language Pathology career with a contract opportunity supporting young children in classroom settings. We are seeking dedicated professionals eager to make a meaningful impact by serving either birth–3 years or 3–5 year olds for the 2026–2027 academic year. Multiple full-time positions are available for in-person work in locations across Salem and nearby areas, including Polk and Yamhill counties.
Role Highlights:
- In-person, school-based setting—full-time schedule
- Two distinct assignments available:
• SLP for Birth–3 years (July 6, 2026 – June 11, 2027)
• SLP for 3–5 years (August 21, 2026 – June 9, 2027) - 190-day contract within the 2026–2027 school year
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Prior experience providing SLP services in educational settings, especially with early childhood populations
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, developmentally-appropriate interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned age group (birth–3 or 3–5 years)
- Assess students to determine communication needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support language development
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP/IFSP documentation
- Engage in team meetings and ongoing student progress monitoring
