In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to assess, plan, and implement therapy for children with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs. You’ll work with students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade, offering an engaging and diverse caseload.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • Experience or interest in working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to develop IEP goals and document student progress effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized educational plans
  • Document therapy sessions and progress in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Work in partnership with teachers, families, and support personnel to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student planning and advocacy
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment, adapting approaches to fit each student’s unique needs
