Desired Expertise and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current OT licensure in Illinois (or the ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience with elementary-aged students in schools preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and case management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other therapists
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy in accordance with IEPs and school goals
  • Track progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement interventions
  • Educate families and staff on adaptive strategies for student success
  • Support a diverse elementary caseload with care and professionalism
