Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Knowledgeable in developing and implementing IEP-based OT goals
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Compassionate and patient approach, tailored to each student’s needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess and document students’ progress, maintaining compliance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to support IEP objectives
- Adapt therapeutic activities as needed to ensure student participation and success
- Contribute to meetings and case conferences as appropriate
