Maintenance Technician
Boston, MA
$32–$38/hour | Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join a residential property management team in Boston.
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests and apartment turns
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections
- Maintain common areas and respond to emergency maintenance needs
- Update work orders and communicate professionally with residents and the onsite team
Requirements
- At least 5 years of property maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and general repairs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with property management or work-order software
- Buildium experience is a plus
